Things to Consider
Education to Children
Good child care is often an expensive but essential service necessary for a parent to work in order to provide for a family. You can help by sponsoring a child in our child care or out of school recreation programs. $25 a week takes some of the sting out of a working parent's weekly child care bill. $100 assures a month of assistance with the cost of child care for parents who are working and don't qualify for state or federal aid with their child care tuition.
Food to People
You can help by sponsoring a Food Drive at your church, place of business, or any other place where people congregate. All donations help us assure that no one in the community ever has to go hungry.
Meals to Elderly
With your gifts of time, talent and treasure, you could sponsor an elderly person for 6 months or more or make a one-time designated gift of any amount to the Senior Nutrition program to support delivery of nutritious meals to seniors in our community. $850 covers food cost for one senior for one year. $70 delivers meals everyday to one person for one month. $16.50 covers a week of home delivered meals. We also seek additional volunteers to help prepare and/or deliver meals.
Thank you for contributing!
